This is actually one of the quietest machines and is very easy to start as well. This is very light and easy to maneuver. It's not self propelled but you really don't need that since it is so light. This trimmer works great on a slope and rarely gets wrapped up even in the longest of weeds. The Poulan also has very strong cutting power.
